along with day to day jobs I have been trying to sort the workshop out into useable space with machines that can be used in situ and some that are usable in a more mobile fashion. The metal working machinery is very heavy so I had to call in the big boys to help. Did have a slight mishap as the workshop used to have a pit which was filled in and concreted over with some pretty poor quality concrete which meant it couldn't take the weight of the forklift so we had to spend a few minutes getting it back out and then we had to go out and find a steel road-plate to put over the hole to carry on with the installation of the machinery. In the end all was well and I now have a lathe, mill and big surface table. I also managed to pick up a well used tyre machine, spent an hour on it today and managed to get it all working, now just need to find space to put that too .

Just MOT welding :)

Doing the restoration work gives me a good bit of practise for doing MOT work :) Most MOT patches from garages etc seem to be a random...
